New Mexico Community Solar Program
The New Mexico PRC recently launched their new Community Solar program for residents serviced by the following utilities: Public Service Company of New Mexico (PNM), El Paso Electric Company, and Southwestern Public Service Company (Xcel Energy).
There will be 200MW of Community Solar available to New Mexico residents. That may sound like a lot, but in reality, only covers about 1% of the state’s population! So if you’re interested in
reserving your spot, you must act fast!
As a resident within these service areas, you can subscribe to a local RooflessSolar™ Community Solar Program and receive a guaranteed savings directly on your utility bill. There are no panels to install on your property, no cost to join and no cancellation fee. Homeowners and renters are both eligible.
All you need is an electric bill to subscribe and save!
Community Solar Benefits
Low Income subscribers will SAVE 20% or more on their electric utility bill each month. Others will receive at least 10% savings. This is a free program with no long-term commitment. Save hundreds of dollars while supporting locally produced clean renewable energy.
